BACKGROUND:
Jayant Kulkarni received his B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) in 1999 and a PhD. from Cornell University in 2005. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Columbia University before starting Quartzy with Adam Regelmann.
Quartzy provides free online software that helps scientists manage their resources, including inventories, orders, and shared facilities. It's currently used by thousands of scientists in industry and academia, all over the world.
