I’m involved with an incredible NGO called Emergency USA which has provided assistance to over 6 million people around the world all at no charge. The work of Emergency was depicted in the short documentary film "Open Heart,” which was nominated for an Oscar in the recent 2013 Academy Awards.
I’m on the host committee for their Thursday, August 14 Art.Conversation.Music event, which runs from 6-9 p.m. and features some exclusive food tastings (for those who donate any amount) by Don Bugito, Pinx Catering and Love & Hummus during the 6-7 PM hour, as well as music and art inspired by Emergency USA.
