Join alumni from Columbia and Cornell for a hike of Mori Point and an early dinner afterwards. Well-known for its spectacular views of the San Mateo Coast, Mori Point is also a place of historical significance. For nearly a century, the coast area served as a haven for settlers, travelers, infamous boot-leggers and diners. This is a hike for all levels. The trail length is approximately 3-4 miles on a partially paved trail with 500 feet of vertical elevation change.
The group will gather nearby in the parking lot for the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge (776 Bradford Way, Pacifica, CA 94044). We will hike the perimeter of Mori Point and part of the Mori Ridge Trail and Bootlegger’s Steps. Wear BLUE so we can easily keep the group together. Dress in layers, wear comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes for hiking/exercise
Post Hike Meal: Join the group for an early dinner at nearby Rockaway Beach following the hike.
