Please join the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) for an important conversation on what YOU can do to help alleviate the short-term suffering and address the long-term systemic causes of the refugee crisis in the Middle East.
Co-hosted by: Neal Rickner, Bill Fusz, Alex Garwood, Dan Greene & Ben Renda
The world is finally waking up to the long-standing refugee crisis in the Middle East. While IRAP continues to advocate for the legal and human rights of our U.S.-affiliated Iraqi and Afghan wartime allies—the men and women being hunted down by ISIS, militias, and the Taliban in retaliation for their service to U.S. troops—its work has expanded to address the growing humanitarian crisis that is forcing millions of Syrian refugees and others to flee to Europe.
This event seeks to raise awareness on the continued plight of our Iraqi and Afghan wartime allies and the reasons why Syrian refugees and others are forced to put themselves and their families in rafts in attempts to make the dangerous trip across the sea to safety. Please join us on Thursday, November 5 to learn how you can help! RSVP here!
