This talk is designed to provide founders with an overview of the venture capital industry. During this session, you will learn about the overall structure and important nuances in the VC industry. You will learn essential information about how VC funds fit into the context of other alternative asset classes, fund operation and organization, angels vs. super angels vs. VCs, and basic portfolio company valuation for the venture industry. It is also a great opportunity to meet an investor and make a connection to pitch your idea. This event is a collaboration of several university alumni associations local to the Bay Area.
